How it started:
It all started because of my sister-in-laws passion for working out. We started small by going on short walks, the walks got longer and then the HIIT type of workouts began, before we knew it, we were lifting heavy and cross-training. I've lifted weights as a high school athlete but got more into it a few years after high school.
Why do you coach?
I coach to see the progress everyone makes. to see them light up after hitting a PR or figuring out a difficult lift. I love when our members feel good about themselves and coaching them makes me so proud of their accomplishments. 
What your favorite movement?
I'm a big fan of cleans. Whether its power, squat, hang, etc. I enjoy catching heavy lifts of cycling through them quickly.
How long have you been coaching?
I have been coaching workouts at Drvien712 for a year but I've been in a coaching role for many years with Special Olympics.
